During the last 12 months, I’ve been writing some poems inspired by some of my favourite jazz artists. I chose the haiku form for it’s conciseness and the discipline of the 5-7-5 syllable structure. They are all illustrated with a photo of the artist in question.To add to the challenge, each poem is in English & French.The organisers of  fest-jazz.com thought it would be a good idea to expose my work at the 2025 twentieth anniversary edition of the festival. If you attend any of the four days this year in Châteauneuf, have a look for the specially constructed literary pergola and see what you think. I would welcome any feedback via this website.
